kNit Love: Not Everybody Gets It

Ah, how true. There are knitters ... and then there's the rest of the world!

From my kNotes for kNitters© series of collages, ruminations on the theme of kNitting in particular, and Fiber Arts in general, a profession of "Knit Love".

This collage design, hand & digitally colored, is the third in my series honoring knitters past, craft connected-ness, and the Art of Knitting "handed" down from one pair of hands to the next.

The design was inspired by a small black-and-white snapshot taken sometime in the late 1910s - early 1920s. I collaged it with vintage knitting patterns, the old Beehive logo, and other digital embellishments.

"kNit Love" Available As:

Folded Note Cards with Envelopes

A set of 5 folded note cards, each measuring approximately 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inches when folded (size A2). The card set comes with 5 matching envelopes in a beautiful shade of purple ... even better, the envelope stock is recycled (30% PCW). The inside of each card is blank ... leaving plenty of room for your own declaration of Knit Love. (KL-01, $5.95)

Postcards

This is a SET OF 10 (TEN) standard size postcards, measuring approximately 5-1/2 inches tall by 4-1/4 inches wide. I package each set with my own printed paper "belly bands", then slip the cards into a cello sleeve. I ship in board mailers to prevent damage to your cards. (KL-02, $4.95)

NEW! COFFEE (or TEA) MUG

Let your daily beverage happily proclaim your "Knit Love" in this wonderful 12-ounce ceramic mug!

I modified my original collage so that the design wraps around the circumference of the mug, with the snapshot image centered opposite the handle.

Then, to get the level of photographic detail I wanted, I had it professionally printed on a white handled mug holding a generous 12 ounces.

The glazed finish is permanent, food safe, and also perfectly safe for use in your microwave or dishwasher.

 (KL-03 $14.95)

About My Art

My designs are based on and/or inspired by my crazy huge collection of vintage photographs, vernacular snapshots and antique postcards. Stay tuned for more ... I dream up new ones constantly.

Forms of Payment

I've had really good luck with PayPal, and I think you'll like it, too. Using PayPal, you can pay using checks or credit cards -- and never need to give me your personal financial info. Plus, you get buyer protection up to $2,000. What more could you ask?

For my international buyers (outside the U.S.), I've added Moneybookers payment. It's similar to PayPal, but easier for international customers to use.

Shipping & Returns

I normally ship using the U.S. Postal Service, via First Class or Priority, your choice. However, if you prefer another service, such as UPS, DHL or FedEx, just let me know.

Yes, I ship internationally -- anywhere in the world. (If you live in Italy, I will add a nominal fee for shipping insurance due to the regrettable number of packages lost there.)

I am very proud of my sterling customer service record selling on eBay (see feedback) and my Etsy store (see feedback). My return policy is simple: if you're not happy, then I'm not happy. If for any reason my item turns out not to be what you wanted, simply return it to me for a prompt & cheerful refund.

Questions?

Just email me. I'm happy to answer your questions promptly. And I can gift-wrap or customize any design, just for you. So drop me a line!
